I like blog posts which have new created material. I wasn't sure if this is an advert because it said 'we' and linked to rtl-sdr.com:

Anyway the project unfortunately would be more interesting if it was not using a $3k USRP device for finding a clear part of spectrum. And the cheap SDR dongles on their own are no use either, since they won't go to

2.4GHz or 5.8GHz without additional hardware. So basically this should have been a $100 project but is using a $3k device : (

John - you've made four "blog" posts in a short space of time but they are not really blogs but links to other web sites about subjects which interest you (and with some kind of commercial interest too I think).

A blog should be describing something you have done or are working on - if you want to draw attention to something you find interesting it should be posted as a discussion.

So of the 8 'blogs' on E14's front page today, only three are actually blogs.

E14 does not make it's policy clear on this (are you listening E14 ?) and there is nothing evil about the 5 non-blogs - I just happen to think that they are in the wrong place. Others may have different opinions, which I hope they will express.
