Nice, a balance-bot is on my bucket list. I've seen some snappier balancing bots, this one seems to hunt a bit to keep balanced, maybe filtering time on the accelerometer feedbacks or gearing/ramp ref of the S9 servos could be played with. I also had a fellow in the robot club (attempt to) build one 5 feet high, out of wood. A for creativity, F for placing us in danger when the thing hit the floor :-)

Using the balance-bot for walking a hamster or guinea pig would be a fun Rube. The challenge is adding a velocity reference to each wheel that works with the balance regulator and can do turns without falling.

I fun little project and a great diversion. We all need a break from time to time. I look forward to see what you do with this little guy.
