Oh, that's sad news : (

I still have his 'Gadgeteers Goldmine - 55 Space age projects' book, it was really inspiring to read back in the days, the projects really were futuristic and probably attracted a lot of young people to experiment with electronics. That book was the inspiration for me and a friend to try making a laser light show for a school fashion show.. we based it on one of his experiments in the book.

Wasn't familiar with him but I am perusing through some info on him and from what I can gather he did a lot to make electronics accessible to a more inclusive audience.

Perhaps, his life's work could be focus of a future project competition in his honor?
