Robert,

I did see recently that Farnell have started to sell this kit. It is rather expensive for me so I'm not sure I

d be able to get one. Do you think it is worth the money, as in good value for money. I recently completed a Tobbie walking robot which was only 20% of the cost of Walky. It doesn't come with any interfaces or Apps but it is relatively easy to replace the provided controller with something better.

Do you think the walking gait is a good one? I would have thought that a knee that bends backwards and forwards would be better than side to side, sothere must be a good reason why the designers of Walky didn't use it.

Hi Robert,

It looks like a great kit - you mention the quality is good and I can see that from the parts; neatly bagged up etc and the colourful instruction booklet.

I'd be interested to see a video of Marty in action, what movements he can perform (ie where the servos are located), what is achievable from that app, what power supply does he need?
