&lt;p&gt;What they have done is have a photon interact with a crystal matrix that emitted different frequency photons after absorbing the initial photon stream. Something that I was doing nearly fifty years ago to create new wavelengths from a laser pulse source. They can call it anything they like, but this is not new science, just a rebranding of a known capability.&lt;/p&gt;
