There is an on-chip temperature sensor but according to reports it is inaccurate. How can we really know the temperature of the Pi’s processor? In general

RE: Building a Temperature Measurement System – Part 1

Excellent Article [mention:b0bc65b9ecdc4307bd967592f00e340a:e9ed411860ed4f2ba0265705b8793d05], no surprise there [View:/resized-image/__size/16x16/__key/commentfiles/f7d226abd59f475c9d224a79e3f0ec07-5cd257ca-0a41-44d8-a529-b8eab27ecedc/contentimage_5F00_1.png:16:16]

A great way to show how to perform a specific task (Home made temperature measurement / logging) in a fun and practical way

I did not read any mention about the thermal differences and considerations due to having simple contact resistance of the probe to the various chips.

At the start of the post you mention people seem to think the built in measurements are inaccurate but do not explain why ? or how inaccurate they are.

Perhaps in part two you could add a paragraph regarding this as many folks will be curious to understand. Afterall this is the whole premise of the project ?.

This is in no means meant to diminish the post, it does not, it is an awsome post and I read it with great interest..
