A great way to show how to perform a specific task (Home made temperature measurement / logging) in a fun and practical way

I did not read any mention about the thermal differences and considerations due to having simple contact resistance of the probe to the various chips.

At the start of the post you mention people seem to think the built in measurements are inaccurate but do not explain why ? or how inaccurate they are.

Perhaps in part two you could add a paragraph regarding this as many folks will be curious to understand. Afterall this is the whole premise of the project ?.

This is in no means meant to diminish the post, it does not, it is an awsome post and I read it with great interest.. It just seems a small gap and would serve to complete it

As a side comment.

The FRDM KL02Z40M has thermistor input on the board.

Freedom Development Platform for Kinetis KE02 MCUs

With the low power features of these boards, they would suit battery powered logging.

is the perfect room temperature really 23 degrees C?

That depend on what is happening in the room !

For interest sake, we have the temperature in the ATC Centre at 22.5 deg and while it would be nice to think the Air-con keeps it at that, the reality is different.

The reason is because it measures the returning air and tries to adjust by adding more cooling.

But Air-con issues aside, if you are sitting with little movement then it is a comfortable temperature.

Nice project looking forward to the next part.
