The temperature is displayed in Fahrenheit, I have added a line in the blog post. Thanks for pointing out !

Dave I think you assume we have a plug in the back of our necks ....

I'm assuming the temps are Fahrenheit (you guys are American)

Number 1 while it does resemble someones hand with the thumb out, I would expect to see more colour on the fingers and the temp is wrong.

Number 2 looks a stove element, but the temp is too low, so I'm picking its the top of someone's coffee with lots of cream.

Number 3 is something cold, but not easily recognizable.

Number 4 looks like three COLD bottles against a warm background.

Number 5 looks like a hand with the thumb and first finger clenched.

Number 1 looks like someones hand with the thumb out.

Number 2 looks like the top of a stove cooktop.

Number 3 looks like nothing I can recognize.

Number 4 looks like three very warm bottles.

Number 5 looks like nothing I can recognize.

Of course I am assuming the numbers reference temperature in Centigrade.
