The usual problem with digital signal generators at low output levels is noise and distortion which are not visible with this test. The DMM accuracy (specced by Fluke) is only 0.4% + 25 counts so it isn&#39;t really able to tell us much about the signal levels, not least because there is a range change between each test level.</p><p>I think that the generator has two output channels so with a bit of cunning, a scope and some Rs and Cs you could estimate the noise and distortion - you might need a low noise amplifier as well to do it at low signal levels.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>MK</p><img src="https://community.element14.com/aggbug?PostID=17781&AppID=13&AppType=Weblog&ContentType=0" width="1" height="1">
