For work I just purchased an Agilent MSOX3034, also mixed signal. One of the major drawbacks of scopes is that the software features all cost money, but now Agilent / Keysight had a promotion that all options could be bought for the price of a single one. Great post Dave.

I have been trying to catch all of these new scope blogs.

The new multi signal scopes are just amazing compared to what I had to work with in my day.

One thing I did like was the serial bus decoding capability.

To reduce cost, I found that the basic Pico scope unit can do a reasonable job for a very low price.

If you are doing this stuff everyday, then I agree that a scope like this is well worth the cost.
