BK 3010 Function Generator

Hi All,

I'm a newb considering picking up a used BK 3010. I'm a long time Mr. Fix It type. Just got a vintage oscilloscope to diagnose my tube guitar amps, and realize that an audio generator goes hand in hand with it. Will this mod benefit me ? It looks pretty simple to do. I greatly appreciate any and all feedback.

you will not see the BNC connector in the upper right corner of the unit, well its a TTL output. And I don't know about you but I have a lot of dead power supplies. They always yield a NEMA power connector and lots of wire. Do yourself a favor and put a Molex connector with extra wire so that you can always take the damn thing apart without fighting with the case...LOL

Nice find. I don't often need functionality beyond what this instrument can produce.

I learned on an ancient Wavetek and miss the simplicity.
