I released a new version of the linux services. Release 1.0.2 behaves better when streaming over WiFi or unstable networks.

This beta defect is now solved: flow fails in full-continuous mode

It was in the LabVIEW flow: I closed the data stream connection before calling the Scan Stop block. This caused the Pi service to try and write to the unconnected socket. Solution: move the Scan Stop inside the loop where the Stop condition (button) is polled.

Hi Jan,

That looks really responsive, very nice!

It's great that there are ways to work with this format with some of the popular languages and apps, it makes each part of the project have nice modularity.

If people wished to connect your instrument service to Matlab, then the conversion command is:

newdata = typecast(bytearray', 'double');

where bytearray is the sequence of 8 bytes (or multiples of this) from the stream from the Instrument Service, and newdata is the resultant array of floating-point 'double' measurements.
