I have been using the EREM EROP7SA forever:

They were really cheap when I bought them, and they are still cheap today.

After a tip tune up they should be good for another 20 years

I'm using these non-branded set of tweezers that I bought on Amazon. A few tweezers are somewhere on my workbench...

I recently bought the mechanic tweezers from Banggood after watching the NorthridgeFix videos. These tweezers have good, pointed tips and the tweezers are quite sturdy.

I've used the same pair of EREM AASA-SL tweezers for the last 18 years. One of the great advantages of working on your own is that people don't "borrow" your tools !

They are still available and pretty cheap: £11.72 from Farnell, 1014358

EREM belong to Weller now and they seem to have dropped the -SL from the marking.

I can manage 0603 easily and 0402 at a pinch.

I picked up these tweezers from NorthrdigeFix. They are about 9 USD each. I primarily use the arc/curved (middle) type. The model number for that one is BST-151SA. With the brand name "BEST," how could they not be the best?

I like them and they work well. The tips are solid enough that they haven't bent from casual usage.

They were a massive upgrade over the no-name "ESD safe" tweezers I bought off of Amazon a few years ago. (None of those have a straight tip anymore.)

I might pick up some of the Wiha because I do wish I had good-quality "straight" tips for larger parts.

Very nice video/blog on selecting tweezers. I find it difficult to find the perfect tweezers, so typically use a combination of a couple of models to assist in soldering SMD/SMT components. I will have to check these tweezers out when I am looking to replace any of my existing ones.
