Thanks to help from one of the contributors of the scikit-rf project, there is an even more accurate method than the de-embedding step that was earlier described. I&amp;#39;ve updated the blog post to also include that method.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Now the corrected measurement almost looks like a dot:&lt;/p&gt;
