Great review.

Appa seem to make very high quality gear. Multimeters appear with Benning branding. LCR meters for GW Instek and Voltcraft (Conrad).

I hadn’t noticed RS Pro products by Appa before, so will have to have another look.

I’ve been really enjoying you’re insulation tester reviews - im a bit of a test meter junkie i think!! I repair domestic appliances (white goods) in the uk and have owned a megger mit 400. Fluke 1587fc and a gossen metrawatt metrahit iso ! In my view the best stand alone insulation tester is the megger but i find it good to have an ‘all in one’ type tester I quite like the Fluke and the range is fine for me but i found having to swap the leads around was a pain & a couple of times this caught me out! So I’m currently using the metrahit iso and im really liking it-its a good solid bit of kit that i can trust. Looking forward to your views on a gossen! Alan.
