Our vision requires the elasticity to help keep our eyesight focused on nearby objects. I just stopped reading books and on computers I make the font bigger although on the Arduino IDE I do not seem to be able to make it large enough to see easily (so I use a large magnifying glass!). I plant bigger more colourful flowers and I'm thinking of getting a bigger TV.

Dubbie

RE: Autofocals could replace progressive lenses in the future

Novel concept, but it seems highly impractical. Gives me a headache just thinking about something continually refocusing as I move my eyes. It took me quite a while to get used to progressive lenses. And the technology would have to work a lot better than autofocus cameras. Would this work in low light?
