I have a Uni-T clamp meter, but also had a multimeter ages ago. However, the rotary switch on the multimeter did go flaky after some years : ( I don't know if it was just bad luck with that unit, so I was curious if you've spotted any significant differences in the rotary switch construction between the different manufacturers, during your series of reviews. It was many years ago, so construction methods could have changed. The clamp meter rotary switch has been fine, but I use that less.

RE: UNI-T UT505A Insulation Tester Review

Hi Donald,

Thank you for the report on your experiments with the UT-505. I have several Uni-T pieces of test equipment and from my amateur viewpoint they have been very satisfactory for my needs.
