As one of the important RF text devices, spectrum analyzer implements measurement and analysis visually for signal power, frequency, harmonic, and inter-modulation, etc. and has become a necessary device for RF engineers. Traditional desktop spectrum analyzer can provide powerful function but with large size and weight which limit it in lab. For engineers who need to do field test, portable or handheld spectrum analyzer would be an ideal choice.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000000;font-size:10pt;font-family:Candara;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:14pt;"&gt;The biggest challenge that portable or handheld spectrum analyzer has is that it should be not only small-sized and light-weighted with low cost, but also capable of delivering good RF performance, abundant test function, and long&lt;/span&gt; &lt;span style="font-size:14pt;"&gt;battery life. With the help of built-in Palm, PSA-T series support function such as word processing and reading, photo and diagram viewing. With the size of 17×9.7×4.7cm that is fit well for hand and the weight lower than 0.5 kg that makes it easy to carry about, TTi’s PSA-T series would be an ideal choice for RF engineers who need features that is well suited for RF field test.&lt;/span&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;span lang="EN-US" style="font-size:10pt;font-family:Candara;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;p style="margin:0;padding:0px;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="margin:0;"&gt;&lt;span&gt;&lt;span&gt;TTi’s PSA-T series have two different types, PSA1301T working at 150 kHz-1.3GHz and PSA2701T working at 1MHz-2.7GHz. The former can provide resolution bandwidth of 280 kHz or 15 kHz, and the latter has three optional resolution bandwidths including 1MHz, 280 kHz and 15 kHz. An appropriate setting of resolution bandwidth turns out more accurate result, thus the multiple bandwidth options provided by PSA-T series become an advantage over other spectrum analyzers at the similar price. PSA-T series have -96dBm typical display average noise level (DANL) and -20dBm reference level. They provide several sweep modes such as normal, single, peak hold and average. The waveforms, settings and images can be stored in Flash memory card inside the Flash slot or transferred to/from PC through the USB interface.
