I totally agree with you DAB and that is why we have the challenge to support everyone with great interest and passion to cut the cord and bring wireless power charging a bit closer to all of us.

Mark, in regards to NZ prices you might contact Farnell directly. They can definitely help you on this one and maybe suggest some reasons to join the road test as well! ;D

I definitely get your point here. The mere price of 330€ sounds expensive first.

Considering that the kit is a professional developement tool, the price is relatively low. Also please know that such kits are not made for profit, but to support the technology and help people design there applications.

On top you´re backed by Texas Instruments´ and Würth Elektronik´s support and can rely on their knowledge and expertise during your design process.

With the evaluation kit you can

professionally develop your wireless power application
very easy connect your device to the receiver for first test and feasibility checks
program/set parameters in regards of your device/application
debug your solution

@mcb1: Don´t know why the price for New Zealand is that high. I assume this has something to do with general country regulations in regards to taxes and imported goods.

Operating on a professional level needs professional tools and the kit provides everything you need to get started for, let´s say "a professional price"! ;D
