Meditech: Good news from overseas

1 Jun 2015

Just a good news that is an important part of the project lifecycle.

At the date of today on 2nd of June I have signed a pre-agreement - as a matter of fact a Memorandum of Understanding - with the Hicom Mobile Ltd and (mentioned as second party) and the Heart health Medical Services hospital (mentioned as third party) in Port harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria about the Meditech device.

Citing the most meaningful parts from the agreement

It is established that Enrico Miglino has developed an innovative biomedical device referred to as its project codename Meditech, partially sponsored by Element14, part of the The Farnell group, U.K. as described in the annexed technical documents.

It is also established that Meditech is created adopting some commercial technologies, components and devices and it will be produced under open hardware and open source licenses with some limitations related to the marketing distribution, promotion and selling.

The First Party agrees to designate Second party as the sole and exclusive partner to market, distribute and sell the product on the territory of Nigeria.

A first period of six months will be referred to as Pilot phase of the business to test the marketing response and the adopted marketing strategies.

The Third Party, also named as the medical reference for the project final testing, explicitly manifest its interest in the product, its adoption at the agreed commercial conditions as explained in the annexed documentation in the following contexts, and its technical support in the testing and certification of validity of the data produced by Meditech compared with traditional analogue diagnostic systems.

Third party agree to follow the project from the actual phase up to the end of the Phase 3: and to be part of this third phase testing.

Third party agree that the Phase 3 testing process will be actuated inside of one of the medical structures he will select with a collaborator he consider trustable after a period of training on the use of Meditech.

Third party agree to support the project in the Phase 2 with any medical advice and suggestion needed or that he consider essential for the better device response and behaviour and - if available - the support of medical components useful to test the Meditech device.

Third party agree to acquire some (indicate how many if possible) of the first Meditech units accordingly with the contractual conditions that will be discussed and agreed by all the parties of signing this agreement accordingly with the marketing and product distribution guidelines as described in the project documents annexed to this project.

The initial conditions, as fas as what was declared in the initial project purposes, where every sold unit will generate a free unit delivered to a non-profit organisation or similar reality is part of this agreement.

Good news They only thing to be wary of is the Nigerian part, since they seem to be a good source of most scams. My suggestion is provide no money, and ensure any agreements that involve money are in your…

It's sad to see how Internet create common places that are immediately applied to all and extremely generalised. Me too receive this kind of span from African supposed super-rich persons and not only.…

Congratulation. It is very difficult getting a product idea to this stage. I hope all continues to go well.
