Here's my audition tape, it's a bit rushed! I got an idea in my head then really wanted to film it all in one go tonight. I filmed it on my phone but I did use a tripod

This project is just fantastic! The incredible nice scenic effect of these stairs is attractive and spectacular. Enrico Guys of E14, provide to this GREAT maker an E14 t-shirt and some stickers to cover…

Great audition tape lorrainbow ! Loved the build and how we had to be quiet to get the demo. (I get it - No fun if the kids wake up.) Hey danielzima1 - let's get Lorraine her shopping cart!

    Lorraine,

Wow, a really nice effect. This is not something I would have thought of doing but it looks great, probably better in real life. I like the idea of making the light colour related to temperature. I also like the concept of using GPS to get the localised temperature as well. You could also include effects related to rain as well as wind speed. It would save me asking Alexa three different questions.

    A great presentation.

    Dubbie

PS If you want to experience temperatures greater than 26 C then just move to the South and experience 30+ C - which is just getting a bit too hot for me.

It looks fantastic!  I have a hall leading to a back stairway that is not particularly well lit and the wall switch is a ways into the hall.  Maybe I could do something like this and have a PIR or something to trigger it when the area is entered.

Nice project! Practical, and efficient. Also, stair lighting is great when one is only half awake : ) I've got a string of Xmas lights down the stairs, so there's some basic level of lighting at night-time, but they have faded a bit. Maybe it's time to upgrade to such Internet-connected lighting : )
