Hello all.

technabob.com did a story on my xbox 360 slim portable. I think it is the smallest one ever built.

Please have a look and tell me what you think.

thanks James

Nice work. Do you have a link to a build blog with photos or anything?  What are the benefits to building one of these versus running an emulator program on a laptop built for gaming?

No i don't have any pics or a build blog because it was my first and i had to back up and chang things too offten. But i will be doing build vidoes and parts lists after i finish the one i am starting theis week.

TO my knowledge there isn't an emulator for the xbox yet.

i don't think of this as portable so much as just being easer to take with me. All one peace no monitor to drag around. and well,,, i just think it's cool.

as far as advantage to on of these, i don't know that there is one. Except maybe that this will play any Xbox 360 games and look as good as any xbox 360, and keep doing so until the new xbox comes out. i have a gaming laptop that is 2 years old and some games need to have their settings cut back to run smoothly.

I sold this one and i am starting the next one as soon as the parts get here. the new unit will be 17" and thenner by 1/2"or so. putting it at around 2" thick, at least i think i can get it that thin.
