If I recall correctly the layout of the boards would have provided some isolation for the different types of circuits. Transmit, receive, oscillators, amplifiers, audio... I have forgotten way more than I have retained. It was enjoyable to watch.
I'm curious was the unit serviceable before the teardown? I suspect most of your teardowns are not working.
A trip down nostalgia lane. Started my electronic career in 1981 working in an RF environment. A lot of the equipment was tubes that were being phased out for solid-state electronics. Discrete components and cable harness...it has been a long time. Thanks for the posting.
