Happy New Year everyone,
I have been so intrigued with the KEMET Vibration Sensor I can’t stop experimenting.
On the weekend, I was trying different uses for the KEMET Vibration Sensor. Making sure I wasn’t interfering with anyone’s challenge idea, I decided to attach the sensor to my throat where my voice box would be located. Amazingly when I said the alphabet there was a distinct difference between each letter. If each letter is added with it's specific vibrations, you should be able to say a letter and have it print it out. I’m sure this could be used as voice recognition or some other application. While doing this experiment I had the Arduino “Serial Plotter” running which give an excellent graph of the vibrations. I will load pictures on another blog of my experiments.
I have to say, this is the most fun I’ve had with any sensor. The precision and information this provides gives it endless possibilities for uses. I really hope other challengers are having as much fun with this as I am!!
Thank you KEMET for sponsoring this challenge!! I have learned a lot!!
