gemma-splashwear 4 doggy & me creating umbrella hat part 2

Hello everyone, I want to share what I have in mind for Pierre's umbrella hat and my hat. Theses NeoPixel rings are soo cool that I just wanted to add them to the top of my umbrella hats. The umbrella hats have a little plastic at the top to stop leaks well, I decided that I would create my own but after I saw the adafruit star,  I thought I would scan that logo star, enlarge it and then trace it onto vinyl and use that to stop any leaks and it's pretty. Here are some pics of my ideas. I want to add stickers to cover the Flora and to cover the battery. I thought it would be fun to do even though I like showing off the electronics. I also wanted to show you all how I came up with the design on the umbrella hats to match my ponchos.

It looks like you are learning good tips and techniques as you go. Polarity issues are always important as you can destroy some components by putting them together backwards. Looks like a good build. …

Hey Dab, I'm still working on last minute details. You are so right. lucky for me that I shut thing off fast and i didn't damage the flora or the GPS witch are the pricey parts on my poncho. I was tired it was maybe 4am and I was soldering 8 strips of LEDs and over 50 pieces of wires and I couldn't see straight but it has been all worth it! 2 more days and I will present my finished pieces.
