Today we move forward with the cutting and fitting of Pierre's poncho.

So above we discuss how to go about cutting the pattern for pierre's poncho and we have had to make a few mockups.

We are also trying to figure out, which LEDs will work best on such a tiny poncho for Pierre.

We have many options but, we are auditioning the Neo Pixels strips or the individual RGB Neo pixels from Adafruit.

We are also adding sewable El wire to the edges of the two ponchos. I have been ordering different parts from Adafruit and

we still don't have a firm part's list because so many things keep changing,  but hopefully we will have our parts list as

we narrow down what we will be using for this build.

Above Luz Amparo,  is explaining to me that she is not going to cut both pieces the same because the neck area is not coming out right. The ponchos are asymmetrical and therefore she can't cut them like she would a poncho that is the same on both sides. This poncho has one side longer than the other side. We are also going to have removable collars so that i can add a hoodie with LEDs,  when we don't want to use the umbrella hats or it's just too windy.

We have gone through the process of creating a custom poncho pattern for Pierre. He is a real pain when it comes to trying things on or taking a bath, but above you can see in the video that we were able to come up with a poncho that looks like my inspiration. We are very happy with the design!  Checkout the pics below of how small the poncho turned out. You can see from the metal buttons that there isn't much room for, 4 buttons like I wanted. These buttons by the way, were initially my first choice for the two ponchos but I changed my mind.
