Hello everyone! Well, its time to show you how I created the umbrella hats. Today I will show you Pierre's and tomorrow I will show you his poncho, then I will show my hat and my poncho.
I have added some pictures to show you how i started. It all started with the umbrella hats next cut them up to make template, then I measured so that I could make the points to match my poncho. Once assembled, I show how I had to audition the LED strips, how to cut tiny wires. I then added my bling on top with neo pixel rings. We decided on what electronics will be in our hats. we will have a flora,compass, GPS and a gemma. I then laid out the LED strips that I had cut into small 12 Neo pixels per strip and placed them on the vinyl umbrella. Next I needed to create a pill hat for Pierre's hat because if not, the hat won't stay on, so i used the plastic from a gallon of milk because it was plastic but not to thick. I still need to add elastic. I then took it to kyle to test but we had a problem so I had to brig it back home to fix, thank God that I did fix it because time is flying by! I have to go back to Hive76 to upload the code and work with the GPS.
