Am excited to be selected for the challenge. It has been a long time since my last gas mask; and my tool and skill set has grown greatly since then. older work here: http://th07.deviantart.net/fs7/PRE/i/2005/206/2/4/gas_mask_02_by_dainsane1.jpg Soon as I got the email for being accepted; started hunting for the base gas mask.
For the new one I would like to use a Canadian C4 mask but am having a hard time to find one for a decent price. The mask is currently in service so not so easy to come by; paying 100+ for a mask that is stolen or reject is not in the cards. This will be fun as now have micro controller and neopixels to work with and a laser cutter for fabbing fancy things.
