Hello all,
Update on the complete challenge
Here are some posts to get you started if you jumped into this challenge, and didn't get the full context:
Smarter Life Challenge Competitors (thanks Joseph Man!)
Overview - week 2 of PSOC Design Challenge
"My weekly view"
It's getting hot in here! Most participants are getting very, very much ready for prototype testing, and I think there will be a nice showdown in the first weeks of January. On the PCB trail the first PCB's have returned to their designers (Peter Shabino) to be tested, while others are still pushing out their design to board manufacturers (Anthony Kahl, Linas Karpavicius) or do simple home etching (Yuri Thikonov).
Most of you are now at ease in all tooling provided, and confident in your design, at least for the part that should be ready in January. I'm still impressed by all the good stuff created, and the level of participation. Really, really great, and I'm so much looking forward to what you're going to accomplish in and after this challenge!
Big thanks to Jim Lynch for putting one of his design aids (excel sheet for pinout planning) online!
Tomorrow (dec. 16th) the public voting will start!!
What's at stake? "
- The People's Choice Winner, based on community polling which begins on December 16, 2013 and ends on January 17, 2014 will receive a $1500 voucher for element14's online retail sites.
Reason enough to get your posts comming up!
