I guess few people outside or Gamers use a desktop computer at home today. But rewind 20 years, and Laptops were still heavy, expensive and lacked the performance that today's equivalents. So what was inside them that made them this way?

    Nice teardown. I still have an older Toshiba laptop. I think it still runs, but I have not had it on in many years. Might be a future tear down project. DAB

    I bought it used in the early 1990's, it did run Windows 95. I used it to access my company mail when I was on trips. At the time I was on 40% travel working three projects. It was a pain, but as I pointed…

    I used it to access my company mail when I was on trips.

    At the time I was on 40% travel working three projects.

    It was a pain, but as I pointed out to my wife, we were building frequent flyer miles and we ended up taking a vacation to Japan to visit our exchange students.
