    As for entering the challenge, then you can never really tell. Element 14 members appear to be able to come up with all sorts of incredible ideas. Part of it will be down to interpretation of 'waste' as it could mean waste parts like dynamos which could be turned into generators, or fridge radiators which could be turned into solar heat exchangers. Alternatively it could be interpreted as some sort of a turbine fitted to a rainwater downpipe or household drain (waste water) to create a small but still usable amount of energy for powering something.
