New 200A PCB Relay solution for Energy management applications

OMRON released 200A high-power PCB relay G9KA series with a focus on low contact resistance to increase the safety, reliability, and cost-effectiveness of energy management product design.

Energy industry is working towards the goal of self-generated solar power which can be used as a primary source of electricity. While maximizing power availability, designers need to ensure the reliability of their products in balance of the costs. Today, high-power PCB relays are proven alternative solution of magnet contactors which contribute engineers to achieve effective product design.

In this webinar OMRON will present, G9KA PCB design practice to achieve low heat generation as reference of utility scale PV String Inverter, UPS and Industrial Inverters design. Presentation also highlights reference flow soldering condition and benefit of contactor replacement.

What you will learn by attending:

  • OMRON Power relay portfolio
  • New product introduction G9KA
  • Performance in actual application
  • >200A reference PCB design
  • Reference soldering condition
