Congratulations - a very interesting project. we need more projects and more little posts like this to get participation back up.
I like the idea of commemorating contest wins with a little trophy or medallion. When I first started winning, I designed some 3D printed medals in the shape of the associated badge, but for some reason, which I can't recall, I stopped after 3 wins. Back then we still had a Member-of-the-Month award, which was great for new members because anyone could put together a good month and win it and previous recipients were not likely to repeat even if they were outstanding.
