[CLOSED] We’re Exploring a New Research Study – Interested?

We're exploring the idea of running a 3-month diary study to gather real-time insights on our new feature releases—and we'd love to know if you'd be interested in taking part!

What’s involved?

  • A dedicated space in Slack or Microsoft Teams
  • Regular check-ins with short questions about your experience
  • Surveys after each new feature release
  • Opportunities to share screenshots & videos of your journey

What’s in it for you?

  • A £100 Amazon voucher as a thank-you for your time
  • A discount on your next purchase
  • The chance to directly influence how we improve our website

The study is likely to start around May/June, but details may evolve based on interest.

Would you be interested in taking part? Have any questions or concerns? Comment below or register your interest here: https://tally.so/r/wLkRAy

This is a great way to get feedback. 2 Questions: Is this Europe only? During what hours would the Teams check-ins have to take place? (Some of us cannot check-in during working hours)

You are still a great fit for the research study! Once I have more details about timings and the activities you may need to take part in, I'll share it with you and you can decide whether it is something…

I am also interested in reviewing new Farnell tech and possibly shaping the future. But since I switched jobs, my free time is more limited these days. But still activities like questionaires, writing some feedback, and occasionally even live events should be fine. In the worst case, you can disqualify me in the middle. Now in terms of electronic engineering, I am only a hobbyist again. Professionally I am a Software Engineer these days, so I no longer professionally buy/select any electronics.

I'm interested in participating! I did have one quick question: roughly how much time per week do you anticipate this will require?

    Lovely!

Incentives will be in your currency (I'll add these details above!). So as we are offering £100 Amazon Voucher, it would be $100 etc.

No minimum order requirements at all, it's just checking in when we launch a new feature and also sharing anything you come across when browsing and purchasing. You don't even need to purchase products during the study if it's not something you need to do for your job.

Although we may request you to screenshot and record your screen / talk through what you are doing, there won't be anything live where we watch you go through our website.

It'll be mostly us launching a new feature and then asking you to use it and report back - simple!

Open to the world and the incentives will be in your currency (I'll add these details above!). So as we are offering £100 Amazon Voucher, it would be $100 etc.

The check-ins happen when you want them to, I work around your schedule. Video check ins aren't necessary and you can just complete the surveys / questions during the study. Although you will need to attend a kick off call so I can explain the study and then one at the end of the study to review.
