Have Your Say on our February Webinar on Coax Cabling!

JoRatcliffe

Hi all, we are continuing our preparations for the new year and that means we have a new webinar due to take place in ~February.

We will be talking all things coaxial cable-related and their applications, perhaps with a demo of good crimping, compression, soldering & splicing techniques. So my question is:

Comment below if another application not mentioned in the poll would be your preference. I've included that as a voting option so you can highlight your choice.

Separately, thank you to everyone who voted in my other recent poll on our January webinar: Isolated DC-DC Converters for the Design Engineer. It's really great to get everyone's input on our events, it helps us make sure we're providing as much value as possible to everybody.

Hi all, I'm very happy to share an update on this and let you know this webinar is now live on the site and open to registrations. You voted for SDR and we have gone ahead and added that into the webinar…

I selected other as I mainly use coax for 3G/HD-SDI video distribution and for PMSE wireless microphones these days. However will have to start looking at 6G/12G-SDI video as resolutions continue to increase.

the coax cables i am regualy repairing is used for NDT (non distructive testing ) for corosion meters / calibration equipment etc.

lemo connectors either coax or multi pin.

then the best choice and length of heat shrink when finishing connectors,

then using hubbel.com kellums wire grips is great with most military connectors,is there similar products to this

When it comes to coaxial wiring, my mind goes to testing.  It would be interesting to cover Time-Domain Reflectometer testing.

I would like to see what connectors are DIY and what tools are needed. I worked in vhf/uhf for 20 years. The really small stuff piqued my interest. What can a maker do for themselves.
