How do you feel about the Ocarina of Time remake?

I very much enjoy that the newer character designs are inspired by puppets (●'◡'●) I played the original on the N64, strategising with my younger sibling on how the water temples ACTUALLY work. I'm interested to know how many of you have played a Legend of Zelda (LoZ) game before, and which one was your first and your favourite?

Even though the Legend of Zelda became a fast and firm favourite, my first experience with games was a Sega Mega Drive with Sonic the Hedgehog built into the console. I'm still not very good at it but it spring boarded my joy of video games (❁´◡`❁)

My latest console purchase was actually the 40th Anniversary LoZ Switch 2 (super jazzed btw). I just wanted to find out more about everyone else's thoughts and opinions on this!

I think my first game system was Nabu Network in the early 80's. I later bought an Amiga. and eventually owned a Colecovision and  a C64.

Oh, yeah!  My parents were cutting edge so we had Pong.  After joining the Army and getting a steady paycheck, I bought my Dad an Atari 2600 - just so he could say that he had one.  My brothers and I would play it when we came home to visit. Laughing
I was into adulthood and parenthood when I was introduced to the NES.  My children can't remember a time before home video games.  We bought the SuperScope for the SNES one year because we moved and couldn't go Trick-or-Treating.  A bag of candy for each kid and as much Duck Hunt as they wanted.
We go WAY BACK. Joy  Like Pac-Man - when he only existed in an arcade machine at Pizza Hut.

My favorite Zelda game is the original Legend of Zelda that came out for the NES.  I was already an adult when the more modern 3D entries came out so I couldn't find the time to commit to them.  The first video games I played were arcade games... Pac-Man, Asteroids and Donkey Kong.  On the home front I played Coleco table top games before I ever got a chance to play home consoles like Atari 2600 or the Intellivision.

Uh... the original Legend of Zelda.  Back when the NES was almost unobtanium - at least at AAFES (Army / Air Force Exchange Service) - circa 1988.

I stopped chasing the series when I had to buy a new system to play each new version of the game.  I went back to my roots - PC.

But more seriously, gameplay footage - and they even remade it!

Me too! I used to type up ZX81 BASIC programs and articles on a typewriter and send them to an exclusive ZX81 fanzine-style magazine, and they would pay me by mailing cash in an envelope. I didn't get rich, but it was a massive ego boost.

    First game ?
That was on my dad's Oric 1 but I was soon gifted an Amstrad CPC 464 with a trove of magazines from which I typed quite a lot of programs.
