There's no business like snow business

Hi everyone, hope you all had a fantastic Holidays and a great start to the new year.

There's still ~2 weeks until the 17th January deadline for our Holidays competition and it's still feeling quite festive where I am based, with lots of snow in my local area (including a very cute, very tiny snowman Snowman2️).

A big thanks to everyone who has already submitted a project. I love how varied the projects are and the stories behind them. All the projects for this year can be found here and they are all great inspiration for contenders yet to submit their project.

I am currently snowed in with about 8 inches with drifts over 1 foot deep. There is little chance of it melting and another storm is on the way. I need to find someone to dig us out or it could be…

I need to find someone to dig us out or it could be a while before we can get out.

I finally got us dug out.

I used a wheelbarrow to haul the snow to a place I could dump it.

Then last night we go another 2-3 inches.

Luckily a neighbor was have her drive cleared by another neighbor and I paid him to blow out my driveway.

So we are able to get out an about.

The sun came out and some of the ice and snow has started to melt.

We even reached 37 degrees for the first time this week.
