What is your best method or place to learn electronics?

This poll is to know how Element14 community members gained most of their knowledge in electronics. I personally prefer practical learning which is now getting implemented as STEM learning over theoretical learning. Cast your votes if you have your opinion listed, else please leave a comment.

I would have to say I use or try to use all available methods available to me so I would say other as being all of the above. I try to use all equally as from books to youtube and the community and projects…

That's the thing I can sit down with a book and read it and learn as well as veg out on tons of youtube videos on topics I have not explored yet giving basic incites into things as well. But to be fair its a cost factor as well. spend 30 dollars on a book or read a blog about it for free? seems silly but I get it depends how in depth you go into subjects would very and warrant purchasing information. As a hobbyist free is best would rather spend my money on parts.....BUT I will purchase books and well quite a few over the years as well so to me take what you can where you can. be a blog, vlog, tutorial video paperback book from chapters or amazon books or local library. If your not utilizing everything at your finger tips doesn't make sense as info comes from all over. And agree learn by doing is a valuable method.

Thank you gam3t3ch and jaxxon41 for your comments. May be I missed this, as you say all the methods of learning are of equal importance. I’m trying to figure out which method is the best or the one which you will love to learn. For instance, I love to watch a video about diode rather than learning it through books. Also I’m looking for the source which contributes more to learning.

All of the methods in the poll have merit. What does not have merit is attempting to learn using just one of the methods.

I try to use all equally as from books to youtube and the community and projects they all have their benefits so for me most of mine was learned from using all the above not just one specific.
