Detailed Prizing Info:

There are 10 Arduino Unos to be given away, one to each winner over the period of the contest. Preference will be given to entries describing projects that we would like to see featured on the Community.

Timeline:

During the period from 9am CDT (United States Central Daylight Time) on March 24th 2014 until 5pm CDT (United States Central Daylight Time time) April 4th 2014, any community member can participate in the competition.

How hard is it to ship 10 arduinos to 10 people? Hope this isn't how you do business with paying customers. If I were paying for these I would have filed complaints with the bbb. This is just ridiculous!! Bad customer service no response to emails or post. When we do get responses they are empty promises. I was told mine would be here by the end of the month and that was over a month ago. If this was a way to get us to buy more products from you I'd consider this a major fail.

so its been over a month. are the arduinos going to be sent to any of the winners? apparently there are several people who haven't received their prize.

Thanks for your emails. If you look at the Terms and Conditions (http://www.element14.com/community/docs/DOC-65965/l/arduino-anniversary-give-me-10-terms-and-conditions) we give you 28 days to confirm your addresses to us. After that point we start shipping. This is because we need to leave enough buffer time for the Arduinos to get to us.

We just hit the 28 day mark on Friday, and you should have your Arduinos by the end of the month.

that was on may 5th still no arduinos for anyone... over 2 months from the contest and no one has a arduino seems a little bit screwed up if you ask me. tell us we won a prize and then not send it to anyone. seems like bad pr. takes over a 6 weeks to ship one product? they should have had 10 arduinos on a shelf for the contest instead of waiting to order them until a month after its over. i hope all their future customers see how they run their business, they definitely didn't make me want to order anything from them after this experience...

Yeah , I didn't get it too. I was wondering was that an april fool joke. Just tell us will we get the prize, we only need to know that.
