UltraZed-EV Power Requirements clarification

Hi,

I am designing a current board however I see some conflicting information for the UltraZed-EV power requirements.

In the CC designers guide you specify the following:

MGTRAVCC 0.85V 1A 

MGTRAVTT 1.8V 1A 

MGTAVCC 0.90V 3A 

MGTAVTT 1.2V 3A 

MGTVCCAUX 1.8V 0.5A 

But then on the actual carrier card this is what was implemented:

MGTRAVCC 0.85V 2A 

MGTRAVTT 1.8V 0.3A 

MGTAVCC 0.90V 2A   

MGTAVTT 1.2V 2.5A 

MGTVCCAUX 1.8V 0.5A 

I see no problem when the implementation allows more current but int he case of MGTRAVTT is much smaller. Can you please confirm which values are correct for these rails for the latest UltraZed-EV SOM?

    I was looking your question. I found that there was revision of Carrier Card on UltraZed-EV .

    Below are other things, I got in search but your question of current requirement is not in below

    The MGTRAVTT 1.8V is PS GTR Termination Voltage sourced by the Carrier Cards. This is on Zynq UltraScale+ MPSoC Processing System via JX3 connector which has 200 pins and is differential not single-ended.

    The MGTAVCC 0.9V is PL GTH Core Voltage sourced by the Carrier Cards, This is on Zynq UltraScale+ MPSoC Programmable Logic via JX2 connector which has 120 pins and is differential not single-ended. The reference clock input is terminated internally with 50 ohm on each leg to full MGTAVCC. MGTAVCC is also the analog supply for the PLLs, transmitters, and receivers of GTH transceiver Quad tile.  This 0.9 V is typical voltage with limits of 0.873 upto maximum of 0.927 V and the ramp up time is 20 ms - 40ms. The decoupling capacitor can be from 1 to 4.7 uF ceramic.

    Both MGTRAVTT and MGTAVCC have voltage sense feedback.

    Im busy, but you can check there was revision of Carrier Card on UltraZed-EV. may be due to it.

    My issue is not with the voltage is with the current required by the SoM Module. The specification for the som module and the designed carrier card don't match so which are the correct current requirements for each rail?

    Thats what I have tried to say.

    There was revision of Carrier Card on UltraZed-EV. 

    The voltage in both carrier card same, the current requirements looks changed and its due to revision in carrier card. I dont know which Revision of board you have.

    The rest I mentioned for knowledge purposes.
