At the end of the week, I'm retiring.
What can I say to express my appreciation for nearly 9 years on the community team and managing the roadtest program? It's been a wonderful experience to end my career. I've found my job both interesting and rewarding.
Where can I start my long list of thank you's for the help and consideration you have given me?
I am sure if I began listing each and every individual member, I would miss someone.
Let me start with the Top Members group. You have been valuable to me, offering your insights and advice, as well as your time.
I can't retire without giving a round of applause to the RoadTesters themselves. Our suppliers have really enjoyed your reviews. Many of you went above and beyond the call of duty in producing stunning reviews. Even those reviews where problems occurred, you have been diplomatic and professional with what you wrote and concluded. I don't want to forget the new roadtesters. I am sure it was intimidating to prepare for your first review and looking over some of the complex reviews posted by our senior reviews. But you hung in there and produced really good reviews. I hope you benefited from the experience.
I also want to thank all the members who participated in my Experimenting Challenge program. I think the program had some bumps in the road at the start, but I think you all made the program better and noticed by just about anyone I have met with.
I'd like to wrap up with thank you for all the element14 members who have given me input and opinions that improved my programs.
I will be around until Aug 28th. Drop a line or add a comment, if you want.
Sincerely,
Randall S.
The element14 Team
