You may remember before we did a poll on which kits you'd like to see on RoadTest? Hawkboard was the outright winner by quite a distance, and I have good news and better news for you. We will have a Hawkboard RoadTest on element14. It will feature in September's Technology First journal and run on here in parallel. So not too long to wait!

I am SO jealous 
- I tried to order one from the Farnell website, but they are out of stock - you guys must be snapping them all up!
It looks so promising and is exactlt what I've been looking for to fit into some projects I have.
Historically I've been using Mac-Minis for some projects, becuase they were cheap, small and powerful, but nowadays they are overpriced and overspec'd!
I'll definitely be going hawkboard sooner or later methinks.

For a project at my old university, I worked with Gumstix computers and BeagleBoard. I enjoyed working with them and wanted to buy a similar thing to use with my personal projects but as a student usualy I am broke. 
This is a really good development on my side and probably a good chance to try out new kits for my professor.
