I would really enjoy to test some new arduino stuff. I got some projects in mind, like a midi controler or a 3d printer that would be good to have arduino stuff to do it.

Hey Don, I had to google that. Related, I'd like a USB Microscope for the workshop but it would be great if it would work with something like a RaspPi so that it could have calibration and measuring tools added to the screen. It might just be a case of getting a Pi + PiCam and adding a simple optical magnifier. I probably only need something in the order of 2 to 10 times magnification or a big screen....

I like making cnc machines, so I would love to test a CO2 laser cutter. There are many uses for these lasers from cutting to medical uses.

Someone mentioned a Laser Cutter? I'd prefer to review a Laser Engraver. I have had extensive experience in engraving using diamond drag technique and other methods but haven't had a chance to use a Laser engraver. I would be very interested to compare the finish of a laser against more traditional methods. Especially with glass engraving. I have seen a commercial product, quite obviously laser engraved, that can't compete with traditional methods for quality of finished product. I would also like to investigate how diverse the engraved materials can be from plastics to ceramics of different kinds.

I recently discovered some products from the Toradex company and they have an interresting bunch of ARM and x86 Computer-on-Module, and the evaluation boards to work with them.
