the latest ARM self learning kits
I wouldn't mind an ARM8 based demo board, almost like the BeagleBone..
Do you mean the BeagleBoard?
Thanks, was just going to mention that... benefits of tiny size with lots
of power, really looks good.
I'd like to test new embedded kits for wireless applications like WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth and RF. Also, it would be interesting to test new sensors like gyroscopes and new motor driver circuits.
Regarding the voucher and/or project sponsorship matters in the previous posts, I understand the suppliers' side about getting the assurance to have their products reviewed very well. Knowing that some of these products are very expensive, I guess it should be reciprocated with a detailed and an unbiased review. However as a RoadTester and a customer, I would be very eager and inspired to write a well presented review if the product is free. I would agree if element14 could provide us a template on how the review should be made in order to be fair on both sides. That's just my suggestion for improvement.

Hi Paul,
Yeah I saw your review of it. It looks pretty good. The only drawback is inherent in any FPGA platform - and that is the software is both limited and way over the top at the same time. Limited because they don't like giving away expensive software, so they impose restrictions on having to run it tethered, or similar limitations. Over the top because it is a huge one-size-fits-all package designed for trained and experienced pros. Not much that can be done about that though as most manufacturers seem to be similar.

I'd like to get a NAO bot, but I'd settle for a turtle bot.
