Hi everyone!  Aside from element14, where do you go to find news on electronics design trends?

Just curious where everyone is looking and reading their news on electronics design trends and news in the industry?

Looking forward to seeing your responses!

Thanks,

I have used http://duckduckgo.com some. It is supposed to give you just  clean unbiased search results and make it easier to find what you are  looking for. Since Google has been using Search Results that are  Tailored to your past search behavior for a while now. Duckduckgo  thinks that their results are more true to your search terms that you  enter. It all sounds good. When reading up on this. I learned that for I  had trained Google to put my own Web Sites lower in my Search Results.  By not clicking on my own Sites links. I've been there before... and  didn't think it made any difference until now. This is not supposed to  make any difference in your Search Rankings. But, it does explain why my  Sites have seemed to slip down the list over the past year, when ever I  search for my key words on my site... Anyway,  http://duckduckgo.com/?q=element14 gives plenty of links to Element14.  But, I still find it easier to find what I'm looking for on Google.

Like most mentioned here, EDN, EE-times, and various MFG's newsletters.  EEWeb for the other half of just web forums, TheAmpHour, for industry info and Zombietech.tv for interviews of people that I follow on Twitter/G+.  All those along with various IEEE mags that come with the annual fees.

I usually read EDN and EE times. Sometimes it is easier to use Google search for latest news. By the way, I found element14 through Ben Heck Show which I found through Google.

    Nicole,

I mostly use Bing, I seem to find everything I'm looking for so I think it works well but can't say if one is better than another.

There are too many to list, however using Google Reader I have the news feeds from many semiconductor and component manufacturers, suppliers of interest, the homebrew/hacking crowd such as Hackaday, a few hundred personal blogs, engadget, EDN, Microwave Journal, EEWeb, Dave Jones' eevblog, tronixstuff.com, and pretty well much everything everyone else has mentioned. You can lose an hour a day going through it all if not careful.

Yeah, I dig UBM's free publications: EETimes, Design News, Embedded System Design.  Sometimes I feel guilty when they pile up, but it's always educational to spend few minutes to flip through at least.

I really enjoy Adafruit's weekly 'Ask An Engineer' live web show.  The first 10 minutes or more are usually news - followed by other segments.

Recordings are on Vimeo which I how I usually watch it (via my Roku connected to my TV):
