Arduino app developments are using libraries such as libraries for XBEE, I2C, Servo, memory, etc,..which kind of make development easier. Is there a plan to support alike in the future in the PSoc Creator?
Not really, one distinguishing feature of PSoC devices (all of them) is programmable logic blocks, like you would get on CPLD or FPGA and analog components, all on the same chip, another feature is in functionality similar to Parallax propeller chips, where any pin can take up any function. To generate supporting files that define programmable logic and functions of pins, you would still need to use PSoC Creator. And I must tell you, PSoC Creator is really nice piece of IDE, it's only deficiency in my eyes it is Windows only.
You might be better asking the question on the mbed forums?
However, the USP (Unique Selling Point) of the PSoC is all the configurable bits; which would be way outside the scope of the standard mbed SDK - so you'd still need the Cypress tools for that part.
With that in mind, I'm not sure how much benefit the mbed SDK would be in this particular case...?
