The new SensorTag IoT kitnew SensorTag IoT kit invites you to realize your cloud-connected product idea. The new SensorTag now includes 10 low-power MEMS sensors in a tiny red package. And it is expandable with DevPacks to make it easy to add your own sensors or actuators.

Connect to the cloud with Bluetooth Smart and get your sensor data online in 3 minutes. The SensorTag is ready to use right out the box with an iOS and Android app, with no programming experience required to get started.

The new SensorTag is based on the CC2650 wireless MCU, offering 75% lower power consumption than previous Bluetooth Smart products. This allows the SensorTag to be battery powered, and offer years of battery lifetime from a single coin cell battery.

The SensorTag includes iBeacon technology. This allows your phone to launch applications and customize content based on SensorTag data and physical location.

Additionally, the SensorTag can be enabled with ZigBee®/6LoWPAN technology.

Debugger DevPack Features

The Debugger DevPack adds debug capability to your SensorTag. Plug it into the SensorTag DevPack expansion header and debug your SensorTag with Code Composer Studio or IAR ARM development environments. The Debugger DevPack includes a FREE license of Code Composer Studio that is tied to the DevPack.

The Debugger DevPack includes a USB power connection, making it easy to power your SensorTag during debugging. Alternatively, simply connect it to a USB power supply if your sensor application requires permanent power. It also includes traces for three Grove connectors to make it easy to add support for any of the 100s of Grove sensors and actuators.

Testers will be selected on the basis of quality of applications: we expect a full and complete description of why you want to test these particular products.
Testers are required to produce a full, comprehensive and well thought out review within 2 months of receipt of the product.
Failure to provide this review within the above timescale will result in the enrolee being excluded from future RoadTests.

Since they went to this style of presentation
You don't have the list of Applicants showing to everyone else.

It used to have Review Pending against your name, which changed to Read Review.

Is this still the same??

How do you post an official review for the roadtest? I did not receive any information about what to do once you receive the kit. Do you post a document or blog post in the road test group?

I received the initial email, but nothing about the shipping yet. I've received a notice from UPS customs service regarding a parcel coming from the USA, so I wonder if it might be this coming. Do you know if it's been shipped?

Mine came too. I haven't gotten around to testing it yet, but I'm very impressed with the hardware and features. I was considering using CC2650 (and a few of the sensors) for a project before this came out, and so I'm looking forward to evaluating it.

My Roadtest kit came in and I've done several tests so far. The TI SensorTag is very easy to set up and deploy. The kits uses either and Android app or an Apple app to view your SensorTag data via the cloud. I used the SensorTag on a remote controlled car, attached to a Frisbee and mounted on my dogs collar and set free. Each test had a purpose, which was to see how eradicate behavior could be identified. The SensorTag worked extremely well in each case. The device sets up in a couple of minutes and includes ten sensors, if you count the microphone. It also comes with a 2032 battery so no need for heavy power. You can install 4 AAA batteries though.

I'll post my review as soon as I can figure out where the review goes. It is a very cool little IoT device.

Not sure what you mean, but from what I gather the DevPack is the debugger module for the sensor tags themselves: http://www.ti.com/tool/cc-devpack-debug-rd

I assume you can connect the DevPack to a Sensor Tag module and output data from the sensors if that's what the program your working on tells it to do...

Thank you for your patience. I will be contacting the applicants we selected later today. There were so many good applications that Texas Instruments has generously added an additional five kits to be sent out. I will post the list of RoadTesters publicly after they have been contacted.

While I agree, in the past it hasn't taken this long usually only a day or 2 and there usually isn't complete silence for the entire time. The only one I have seen in the past take a long time Christian did keep everyone updated
