    How about a Fish Feeder using a Hellical Screw feed or a set of rotating hoppers. Periodically turn the feeding device....Happy fish..Job done

    HELP! I got mine but it's D.O.A.

    Another one flashed a blue LED when powered out of the box.

    On this one the red LED is on and there's no change when hitting reset.

    Putting into ISP mode and trying to upload generates a "failed to connect autobaud step 1" error. The setup has been tried with another LPC800 board and that works fine so it looks like the boards SNAFU'ed.

    Any chance of a replacement board or perhaps simply the chip and I could give it a try by changing it?

    I am thinking about an opening sensor for my post box, connected to a GSM board. So everytime someone opens the post box to insert some letters, i'll get notified.

    My house has an ageing solar domestic water preheater. Now the roof needs to be redone and in order to do so the panels would need to be removed and replaced. As this would be quite expensive I need to determine what the energy savings are for this system.

     

    The plan is to put digital thermometers on all the loops & current sensors on the pumps to make sure it's working properly and to retune its control system. Then do the math to calculate the energy savings & see if it's worth removing & reinstalling the system.

    Inexpensive UPS's (battery backups) made for home and small office don't have a provision for sequencing devices off when the powe fails and back on when the power comes back on.  This board and a few relays can be used to switch external disk drives, switches and internet modems off/on for power failures.  (I've had multiple outages this past year, some over 8 hours, and all longer than what tbe UPS can handle.)
