    Good quiz - reading the resources was enlightening.  I've used a RF coupler rather than PhotoCoupler in a recent design of mine - it uses a modulated RF signal rather than light.

    Handy little devices opto-couplers. I discovered the type with the pushpull outputs to drive big Mosfets and the like just the other month

    The quiz was quite easy. I guess photocoupler and optocoupler are the same things! I first came across an optocoupler when I was looking inside a mobile charger. It was in the feedback circuit.
