I've used Panasonic resistors on past projects before, so this was pretty easy. Some questions were a little tricky, but pretty easy overall

    Hey everyone,

Thank you for bringing Question 13 to our attention, we've rectified the issue where the question and answers didn't match.

The question is now updated to be correct.

All entries are unaffected, as it was only the Question text which was incorrect.

    Thank you,

    Owain

I left the Question 13 answer blank intentionally as there is no option for what I think is the correct answer of "ESR" Equivalent Series Resistance.

Actually I think the question has been inadvertently copied in from a capacitor quiz (I've had career episodes designing SMPS and with motor drive circuits where low ESR is needed for manageable AC power dissipation in the capacitors).

Good quiz — went beyond basic spec recall into the actual design trade-offs. The ERJD series stood out for me: cutting TCR at 10 mΩ from 350 to 100 ×10⁻⁶/K in a thick-film part is impressive, given that low resistance and low TCR normally work against each other. Thanks to Panasonic and element14 for the resources.

Does everyone who ties for the highest score (like getting 100% on the first attempt) receive the tie-breaker questions, or are there other factors used to determine who gets selected for the tie-breaker phase?

That is confusingly worded, I must have missed it before we pushed the quiz live. I'll look into what the correct wording should be and update the quiz.
