Blog 2 Getting started with setup and hardware

Hello everyone,

I had received hardware a bit late due to customs issue and delivery delays due to covid-19. This is a late post, everything recorded below is actually been tested and implemented during the first week of November but could not post the blog due to various reasons.

I have received the following hardware:

1. Raspberry pi 2GB

2. Pimoroni Enviro 486 kit

3. Automation HAT mini

And I bought the following hardware

1. Water pump

2. Piping

3. Seed tray

4. Fertile Soil

5. Some manure

6. A large tray

7. Misc. items

Started growing plant by feeding water through automated pump and the control system.

Oh no! Plenty of other challengers are in the same situation with COVID-19 making it difficult to access equipment/materials and the holidays making delivery slow. It would be great if the contest judges extend the deadline so that people have enough time to finish building their projects, growing some plants, and blogging about their progress.e14phil

I do admit, USPS has been having some delays recently and this should be accounted for. I received my parcel 2 weeks late due to some logistics issues(even in US with no customs). I think it might be extended by a week or two, due to that.
